In view of the recent developments regarding Coronavirus, it has been decided that the Weir Venloop 2020 will not go ahead on the planned dates (25-29 March). All Venloop activities planned during this period will, therefore, be cancelled.
On Thursday 12 March the government decided that all events with more than 100 participants / visitors may not take place until further notice. The safety of our participants, visitors and volunteers is of paramount importance, including the continuity of healthcare in general. Therefore, to avoid taking any risks, we have to announce that the 15th edition of the Weir Venloop will be cancelled.
We are also forced to conclude that it is not possible to postpone the event to a later time this year. The 15th edition of the Weir Venloop is now scheduled for 24-28 March 2021.
As we can imagine that this cancellation raises many questions, we have drawn up a list of frequently asked questions. Please see below for the list of FAQs.
