Venlo is Naturally Cleaned14 | 09 | 21
On Saturday 11 September, the Naturally Cleaned initiative of the KWBN took place. Together with 58 volunteers, we set out in the morning to clear up litter along the route of the Weir Venloop.
After the kick-off with a cup of coffee and a piece of vlaai (sweet flan), the hands were rolled up. Armed with a pickaxe, gloves and a safety jacket, we set off into Venlo in four groups. After 3.5 hours of work, everyone returned to the Venloop office with a satisfied feeling and enjoyed a well-deserved cup of soup and sandwiches.
It was a fun day with a great result! Venlo is a bit cleaner again and we are proud of that. We would like to thank the municipality of Venlo and all volunteers for their support and effort.
