Exchange shirt
If the article you ordered does not fit, you can exchange it. Send the shirt back in its original packaging to the Venloop office at Koninginnesingel 14, 5911 KB Venlo. Please add a note to the envelope with your name and address and of course the desired size. We will then send this size back to you (if in stock). It is also possible to come and exchange the shirt at the office. We are open Monday to Friday from 08:30 - 17:30.

How can I submit my cancellation?
A cancellation can be submitted by sending an e-mail to inschrijven@venloop.nl. You will subsequently receive a message from us that your submission has been cancelled. Participants who cancel their registration with us 3 months prior to the event will be eligible for reimbursement of the registration fee (in accordance with the general terms and conditions).

I want to make changes to my registration.
Now that pre-registration is closed, unfortunately you can no longer change your details. 

Can I transfer my start package to a different walker?
It is possible to transfer your race number to another participant via a form that comes online at the beginning of March, in accordance with our general terms and conditions, is also the only way to transfer your race number. The name of the original participant will be printed on the race number, however the new participant will be named in the results list with their own name. Please note: with ‘check registration’ the new name is not displayed. It is important to know that you can transfer the starting number only once and it is not possible to change the distance. 

The new participant must fill out the transfer form. Here you require have a number of data from the current participant, namely the race number, the postcode and the place of birth. The organisation will never share participant data, or mediate between participants with regards to the transfer. You will be charged €3,- for the transfer via a single automatic payment. You will receive a confirmation mail of the transfer after the transfer procedure has been completed. Finally, the participants need to ensure that the race number is supplied to the correct (new) participant, it is not possible to submit an address change for this.

Will I be sent my start number or do I need to collect it?

When will I receive my start number?
The start packs of participants who registered before 26 February and chose to have their start number sent to them will be sent on 10 March. They will be expected at your home during the week of 13 March. The start numbers have all been sent separately, no account will be taken of same surnames, same addresses or date of registration.
Participants who registered after 26 February should collect their start pack at the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion in the Julianapark in Venlo. See also the schedule below:

What if I don’t receive my starting package on time?
If you are definitely getting it sent to you, but have not received it on time by post, contact the Trouble Desk at the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion in Julianapark. Walkers can attend on the Friday before the Neptunus Walk, between 12:00 and 17:00. Julianapark is located between Deken van Oppensingel and Burgemeester van Rijnsingel in Venlo.

Where and when can I collect my walking package?
Start packages awaiting collection will be at the Ewals Cargo Care Paviljoen in Julianapark. Walkers can attend on the Friday before the Neptune Walk, between 12:00 and 17:00. Julianapark is located between Deken van Oppensingel and Burgemeester van Rijnsingel in Venlo.

Can I have my starting package sent to me?
If your starting package is not being sent to you, but you want this, you can order this option in our web store up to and including 24 April.

What is the finishing time limit during the Neptunus Walk?
All walkers and wheelchair users taking part in the Neptunus Walk must reach the finish before 17.00 hrs on the Saturday of the Neptunus Walk.

Can I swap my walkingshirt?
Yes, it is possible to swap the walkingshirt that you have been issued (while stocks last), only if the shirt is in the original packaging and within four weeks after delivery.

This can be done in two different ways. Firstly, you can swap the shirt at the Weir Venloop office in Venlo (Koninginnesingel 14, 5911 KB Venlo). Secondly, you can return the shirt to our postal address. If you wish to exchange the polo shirt by post, please ensure that the envelope you return the shirt in is fully stamped, and you clearly state the size you want from us. It is often smart to contact us in advance to ensure that the size that you desire is still in stock.

Where can I park on Saturday?
Spectators and competitors in the Neptunus Wandeltocht can park their vehicles in the following car parks:

  • Maaswaard – Prinsessesingel – 5912 AG Venlo
  • Maasboulevard – Prinsessesingel 5 – 5931 HS Venlo
  • Nolensplein – Mgr. Nolensplein 50 – 5911 GG Venlo
  • Kazerneterrein gemeente Venlo – Garnizoenweg 3 – 5928 NA Venlo

The parking facilities at Lage Loswal and Maaskade are open as usual and can be accessed via Urbanusweg.
The Kazerneterrein is located some 500 metres from the start and finish location. 

When does the Venloop breakfast take place?
Prior to the Neptunus Walk you can enjoy a delicious Venloop breakfast from 6.00 to 11.30 a.m. in the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion in Venlo's Julianapark. 

Are Nordic Walking poles allowed during the Neptunus Walk?
Nordic Walking poles are not allowed during the Neptunus Walk.
